Job Description

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for new opportunities in Rugby?

Winner Education are seeking Primary School Teacher’s for a large Multi Academy Trust based across the Rugby area. This will involve both long term placements and day to day cover across KS1 and KS2 starting from September. This MAT have a fantastic reputation for supporting their staff with career development and internal training and support. ECT’s are welcome to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general class teacher responsibilities
  • Whole class lesson planning (except day to day cover – no planning involved)
  • Tailor lesson planning and preparation based on individual learner requirements
  • Lead and work alongside full time TA’s working with the classes
  • Provide regular learner assessments and progress reports (except day to day cover)
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment

The successful Primary Teacher must:

  • Hold QTS status (ECT’s welcome to apply)
  • Have previous experience within primary school environment
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Have excellent understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Form excellent relationships with the school team and pupil parents
  • Show strong resilience and patience
