Site Manager Location: Preston
Salary: Up to £47,000 DOE

The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a national property maintenance and refurbishment provider, for an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Preston.
This is a hands-on management role overseeing the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance. You will be responsible for managing operatives and subcontractors, monitoring performance and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social housing or property maintenance, excellent technical knowledge across multiple trades and the ability to lead a mobile workforce.
Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise operatives and subcontractors delivering responsive repairs and maintenance.
Ensure all works are completed on time, within budget and to the required specification.
Monitor productivity, performance and quality through regular site visits and inspections.
Review completed works, job coding and variations to ensure accuracy and value for money.
Liaise with planners, administrators and client teams to maintain an efficient workflow.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inspections.
Support resource planning and the coordination of out-of-hours services where required.
Maintain positive working relationships with residents, clients and colleagues.
Mentor apprentices and support the development of team members.
Requirements Previous experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor within social housing or property maintenance.
Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades.
Experience managing teams and monitoring performance against targets.
A good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and compliance procedures.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and mobile work management systems.
