Are you looking for pre-school teaching assistant opportunities in Birmingham? Winner Education are thrilled to be recruiting a Pre-school Assistant on behalf of one of our client primary schools based in Sutton Coldfield. This school has an amazing reputation for both its staff and pupils. Applicants must be readily available due to the urgency of the position. The role is full time on a long-term placement, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in a nursery or early years environment. You must hold a level 3 qualification and have a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
The successful Nursery Assistant will:
- Have previous experience working with EYFS children
- Require a Level 3 qualification
- Be required to work as a team member
- Have a passion for developing children ready for their school journey
- Need to have a friendly persona
- Have experience of phonics support
- Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Require a strong understanding and knowledge of safeguarding
- Be comfortable in providing additional support to children on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Display the skills to be an excellent role model
