We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Store Operative to support a busy sofa retailer in Poole in October.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS JOB IS ONLY TEMP AND IS ONLY REQUIRED AS AND WHEN THE CLIENT HAS THE NEED.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and can work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the movement and handling of sofas and furniture arounrwd the store.
- Supporting with deliveries, unloading stock, and replenishing the showroom.
- Ensuring the store remains clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Assisting customers and store colleagues where required.
- Following all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.
- Carrying out general store duties as instructed by the management team.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse, retail, or store operative experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
