The Opportunity
We are working exclusively with a well-established, family-run facilities management business that has been operating successfully for over 20 years. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team and take ownership of new business generation across the UK.
This is a genuine hunter role. We are looking for someone who thrives on winning new business, building relationships with senior decision-makers and converting opportunities into long-term FM contracts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing hard and soft facilities management contracts, ideally across sectors such as retail, industrial, commercial and multi-site environments.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities across the facilities management sector. Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify and secure new client opportunities across the region
- Re-engage previous clients and increase share of spend with existing accounts
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key strategic accounts with strong development potential
- Drive sales across a range of service lines including planned maintenance, compliance services, project works, reactive maintenance and specialist services
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, identifying opportunities to expand service delivery
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful mobilisation and delivery of new contracts
