Winner Recruitment have partnered with an exciting, forward-thinking client in the Barnsley area and we are recruiting for Permanent Metal processing and Metal Sorting operatives.
Metals processor – £27,500 yearly
Metals sorter - £29,000 yearly
Days Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm
Duties include:
- Sort, grade, and process incoming materials
- Prepare materials to the required quality standards
- Use an XRF scanner to identify and verify materials
- Operate processing equipment such as saws, shears, shredders, and blasting machinery
- Keep basic records using IT systems
The candidate must have experience in the recognition, identification and reporting of special metal contamination within the materials that may include foreign attachments, coatings, inserts, tips, and repair welds.
