As a Day shift Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible mainly for training of couriers so they are able to effectively complete deliveries of parcels on set routes, by assisting with the training on the app that they require to use. With this, IT skills are essential.

This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity after a successful 12 weeks of service, with competitive rates of pay starting at £13.81 per hour. This role is only suitable for full time workers that are able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The operation is open 7 days a week, and we can accommodate any 5 days out of 7.

A Day shift Warehouse Operative's rate of pay and hours are as follows:

  • Pay rate £13.81
  • 2 choices of hours: 0900-1700 or 1000-1600
  • Working any 5 days out of 7

Your duties as a Day shift Warehouse Operative will include:

  • Supporting the onboarding process of new couriers and ensuring the most efficient allocation of work
  • Actively monitor parcel scanning and courier readiness
  • Ensure correct processes are followed so parcels are ready for collection and taken away by couriers compliantly
  • Raise escalations timely and transparently in Service Tracker when risks are identified so proactive resolutions can be made
  • Support planning when known resource gaps may be coming up
