Maintenance Electrician

Electrician  \\n\\nLocation: York\\nSalary: £42-44k per annum\\nEmployment Type: Perm\\nSector: Domestic/Commercial\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nWe're looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician to join a facilities team responsible for keeping busy sites running smoothly. The role is a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs, covering a range of building services and general electrical systems.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nCarry out routine PPMs on electrical systems and building services\\n\\nRespond quickly to reactive maintenance tasks and electrical faults\\n\\nDiagnose and repair issues on lighting, power, distribution boards, motors, and controls\\n\\nSupport with minor installation, upgrades and small works when required\\n\\nEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards\\n\\nKeep clear and accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs\\n\\nWork with site teams, contractors and other engineers to maintain safe operation of the building\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance\\n\\n18th Edition\\n\\nExperience in facilities maintenance, commercial, or building services environments\\n\\nGood fault-finding skills across general electrical systems\\n\\nStrong communication and the ability to manage your own workload\\n\\nA proactive approach to safety and maintenance\\n\\nWhat You’ll Get\\n\\nCompany benefits\\n\\nTraining and development\\n\\nLong-term stability with a well-established team\\n\\nOpportunities for progression
