Are you looking for a Nursery Practitioner role within one of Europe’s largest nursery groups? We are currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join an exceptional and unique nursery setting in Sevenoaks, Kent. This role is a permanent position on a full-time basis. The nursery is dedicated to shaping young minds and revolutionising early childhood education in the UK. They provide exceptional care and nurturing environments that make a real difference in the lives of all the children.
Nursery Practitioner Duties:
- Provide a high standard of care and education to all children
- Follow the EYFS framework
- Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children
- Strong communication with parents, professionals and colleagues
- Be responsible for assessing and reviewing the children’s development
- Implement an effective key person approach
- Provide an enabling indoor and outdoor environment
- Maintain and update personal records for each individual child
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children is maintained
- Coordinating with the Room Leader and Senior Team to deliver outstanding education experiences through practical and theoretical activities
Nursery Practitioner Requirements:
- Full and relevant level 2 or 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- At least 12 months experience working in an Early Years setting
- Comprehensive safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
- The ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with parents and children
- A passion for childcare and child development and making a difference to the community
- A child-centred approach to your work
