We're looking for an experienced Wood CNC Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster (DN9). This is a stable, long-term role with great hours and competitive pay.
Pay & Hours
- Up to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.25x
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: Early finish
The Role
- Operating CNC machinery working primarily with timber and wood-based materials
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC routers (programming experience a strong advantage)
- Producing high-quality components to drawings and specifications
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating wood CNC / CNC routers
- Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials, and wood machining processes
- CNC programming knowledge is highly advantageous
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
