Plumber – Property Maintenance Location: Wyton, Henlow & A1 Corridor Salary: Up to £36,982.40 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a well-established property maintenance company, carrying out planned and reactive repairs across military family housing in Wyton, Henlow and along the A1 corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with experience in domestic maintenance or social housing to join a long-term contract, helping ensure properties remain safe, functional and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance and minor installations. Diagnose faults and complete effective, timely repairs. Repair and replace taps, sinks, toilets, pipework and associated fittings. Undertake planned, reactive and emergency maintenance works. Complete plumbing and repair works in void properties to prepare homes for re-let. Support with general property maintenance duties where required. Use PDA/mobile technology to update job records and work orders. Ensure all work meets health and safety, quality and customer service standards. Requirements Previous experience as a Plumber within domestic maintenance, property repairs or social housing. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fault-finding and repair techniques. NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing, or equivalent, is desirable. Experience working in occupied and void properties. Confident using a PDA or mobile technology. Full UK driving licence. Existing DBS and security clearance, or willingness to undertake the necessary checks. Right to work in the UK. Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach. What's on Offer?
