We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Part Time day shift Shunter Drivers to join our growing network within our clients Depots across the country. Shifts are available on a part time basis on weekends as well as other adhoc shifts available. If you want to be part of a team that plays a vital part of the delivery process, then this is the role for you!
Our client is responsible for the delivery of parcels to a nationwide network. A typical day in the life of a Shunter Driver will include efficient driving of the vehicle adhering to road safety standards and effectively completing paperwork. With the use of a terberg shunter, moving trailers on the relevant bays in a timely and safe manner, liaising with colleagues to ensure accuracy. Support is always available as we know that things can arise daily when navigating British roads; the friendly transport team are always available to help you navigate through any issues.
Key Details:
- Predominantly working on a night shift across weekends (adhoc shifts also available)
- Night shift pay rate: £18 p/h
Essential skills and requirements for a HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Full UK Driving Licence with a HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) entitlement
- An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (CPC Card)
- In date Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 points on your Driving Licence
- At least 3 months experience as a Class 1 driver
