We are looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to work in a dynamic environment with guaranteed shifts and competitive pay rates. As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations in a safe and timely manner. We offer full-time equivalent positions with 5-6 days of work per week — no cancellations. Immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods to specified destinations.
- Ensure that deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy and compliant with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure paperwork is completed correctly.
- Follow all road traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the logistics team to ensure efficient and effective route planning.
- Report any vehicle issues or delays promptly to the operations team.
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- 6 months experience required.
- A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights as required.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (preferably clean).
- Hourly rates between £19 - £21.50 based on experience and shift.
