We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 RoRo (Roll-on Roll-off) Drivers to operate from our Widnes depot. This role involves the safe and efficient movement of RoRo trailers between ports, terminals, and customer sites, ensuring high standards of professionalism and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Transport RoRo trailers to and from ports, terminals, and designated delivery points
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely
- Complete all required paperwork and digital records accurately
- Comply with all UK driving legislation, including tachograph and working time rules
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and port authorities
- Adhere to health & safety and company compliance standards at all times
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC qualification (in date)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous RoRo driving experience preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and port procedures
- Strong attention to safety, compliance, and timekeeping
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and early starts if required
