General Warehouse Operative. Location: Wombwell, Barnsley.  Hours:  Monday to Thursday 8-4  Friday 8-2  38 hours a week. Salary: £12.21 per hour with regular pay reviews.  Job Description: As a General Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse setting. Your primary duties will include: Job Duties: Processing incoming stock and materials Picking and packing orders for despatch Unloading vehicles  Maintain a clean and tidy working environment  Organising and maintaining inventory and storage areas Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed Essentials: Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects up to 18kg Good Customer Service skills as you will occasionally be making and receiving phone calls.  Previous experience of order picking Good attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently  Desirable: FLT License  Computer literate
