Job Opening: Field Service Engineer – Pump Systems (Clean & Waste Water)
Location: Yorkshire | Full-Time | £40,000 + Benefits

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of our technical operations, working on customer sites to install, commission, service, and repair pumping systems used in clean and wastewater applications. You'll handle everything from fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs to system upgrades and emergency breakdown response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical service on pumps and associated equipment on-site and in-house
  • Diagnose and repair faults in clean and wastewater systems
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and emergency call-outs
  • Install and commission new equipment
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
  • Build strong relationships with clients and uphold our reputation for excellent service

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience working with pumps, rotating machinery, or similar equipment
  • Understanding of clean and/or wastewater systems and related health & safety regulations
  • Mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering background (HNC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring schematics
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Confined space and CSCS/Water Hygiene certification (desirable)
