We are currently recruiting for experienced, enthusiastic event waitressing staff for a special event working on Thursday 6th November. This is a temporary booking for 1 day for a prestigious event based in Smethwick.

We need experienced, personable waiting staff for this very special event. We require event hosts or hostesses, silver service or waiting staff.

Hours of work: 12.30pm – 6.30pm

Pay rate: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the service of food and beverages, ensuring a good standard is maintained.
  • Set out tables and chairs for the event as directed.
  • Check and prepare for each service.
  • Correct handling, storage and cleaning of all food service equipment as detailed on the work plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Be enthusiastic, presentable, and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Previous waiting experience is essential.
  • Set up tables and tea and coffee serving stations.
  • Organise the buffet and food platters.
  • Serve and top up any empty glasses or teas and coffees.
  • Help to clear up after service.

You must wear black trousers or skirt and a white shirt or blouse. Previous experience is required for this role. If you are available for this date, please apply online in the first instance.
