Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Location: Gillingham (office based)
Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 dependent on experience
Contract type: Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business, where you will play a key role in providing accurate, competitive quotations and tenders across a wide range of projects. You\’ll be working on essential schemes that ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency in the built environment.

What you will be doing

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for both new installations and remedial works across a variety of services and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction and M&E projects

  • Interpreting site reports, drawings, and client requirements

  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

  • Supporting tender submissions and producing proposal documentation

  • Collaborating with project managers for smooth project handovers

  • Keeping up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

Who we are looking for

We\’re seeking someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven experience in estimating within construction or M&E sectors

  • Knowledge of new build, refurbishment, or remedial works

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of compliance requirements
