We are currently recruiting for a really exciting new role for one of our prestigious clientβs based in Central Birmingham. This role will be a customer focused administration role. You will be based on the factory shop floor reporting directly into the production manager. You will be an integral part of the team liaison between the client and internal managers. Your role will be to report on the progression of orders for the clients. Your main purpose of the role is to monitor and drive forward the progression of jobs to deliver a timely and effective service. This will be a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
General Duties
- Speaking to clients and customers in regards to the status of their orders via phone or email
- Produce and maintain monthly KPI reports to track performance, progress, and key metrics
- Monitor workflow and ensure all jobs are progressing according to plan
- Reporting into the production manager with any issues or possible delays and offering resolutions
- Liaising with line managers daily to see current status with orders and update clients
- Updating the information on to the in-house system
- Chase any outstanding parts
- Update schedules on the systems
- Monitoring and driving all of the jobs forward
- Make sure every order is delivered effectively and in a timely manner
- Resolve or offer any solutions if required
- Achieve the in-house targets & KPIβs that are set daily and weekly
Skills and Experience needed
- You must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar environment or role
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills as speaking to prestigious clients
- Have exceptional organisational skills and be able to stay calm under pressure
- Must be able to articulate yourself well under pressure
- Have the ability to think on your feet and offer the customer cost saving solutions
Hours of work will be Monday β Thursday 8.00am β 4.45pm β Friday 8.00am β 1.30pm β 38 hours a week. If you are available immediately and have the relevant skill set and experience please apply online in the first instance.
