We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected property maintenance contractor, supporting their long-term partnership with Southern Housing Group. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and versatile Multi Trade Operatives to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation delivering essential repairs and maintenance services across thousands of residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of reactive maintenance and repair tasks
- Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable)
- Complete carpentry work including repairs and basic joinery (desirable)
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Work both independently and as part of a wider team
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
About You
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader within property maintenance
- Working knowledge of plumbing and general building repairs
- Ability to problem-solve and diagnose faults effectively
- Experience working in tenanted properties
- Familiar with PDA/mobile working systems
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in a relevant trade
- Additional trade qualifications (advantageous)
- Part P qualification (desirable)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
