We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected property maintenance contractor, supporting their long-term partnership with Southern Housing Group. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and versatile Multi Trade Operatives to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation delivering essential repairs and maintenance services across thousands of residential properties.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of reactive maintenance and repair tasks
  • Undertake plumbing repairs and minor installations (desirable)
  • Complete carpentry work including repairs and basic joinery (desirable)
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Work both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

About You

  • Proven experience as a Multi Trader within property maintenance
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and general building repairs
  • Ability to problem-solve and diagnose faults effectively
  • Experience working in tenanted properties
  • Familiar with PDA/mobile working systems
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in a relevant trade
  • Additional trade qualifications (advantageous)
  • Part P qualification (desirable)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
