Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for new opportunities in Coventry?
Winner Education are seeking Teaching Assistants for a large Multi Academy Trust based across the Coventry area. This will involve both long term placements and day to day cover across KS1 and KS2 starting from September. This MAT have a fantastic reputation for supporting their staff with career development and internal training and support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide general classroom support for KS1 and KS2 pupils
Support the class teachers in preparing and tailoring learning materials based on learner requirements
Liaise with the class teacher and school SENCO with updates on individual pupil progresses and developments
Small group interventions
Phonics support
Provide 1:1 support
The successful Teaching Assistant must:
Have previous experience working with KS1 and KS2 children
Hold a minimum of TA 2 qualification or have significant experience with children
Have a passion for developing children and encouraging independence
Need to have a friendly and positive persona
Require a strong understanding and knowledge of safeguarding
Have previous experience of supporting children with SEN
Display the skills to be an excellent role model
Form excellent relationships with the school team and pupil parents
Show strong resilience and patience
