Are you an experienced MFL Teacher looking for work in Worcestershire? Winner Education are seeking an MFL Teacher for a secondary school in Redditch, Worcester. This role is due to start in April and will be long term on a full-time basis. You must have previous experience in delivering French and German to KS3 and GCSE levels. Having a QTS is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Curriculum Lead to ensure the curriculum is up to date and meets the needs of the students
- Provide exam preparation across both German and French
- Adapt lessons to suit the needs of children
- Create a stimulating learning environment
- Support KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Conduct assessments and progress reports for individual pupils
- Ensure pupils are meeting set targets
- Host parents evening when required
- Produce interactive and engaging lesson plans to deliver to the learners
- Provide additional support and booster sessions to pupils
The successful MFL Teacher must:
- Support students with the transition of the next stage of their education or training
- Have previous experience working in a secondary school
- Hold a QTS or significant experience within teaching French or German
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Have strong resilience and patience
- Be a great team-player and form good relationships within the school environment
- Good classroom and behaviour management
