Are you a Nursery Manager looking for work in Swindon? Winner Education are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager for a nursery based in the Swindon area. The nursery has an outstanding reputation and is an ever-growing nursery chain with over 300 nurseries in the UK and abroad. They provide exceptional care and nurturing environments which make a real difference to the lives of all children! This is a full-time, permanent position. Experienced Deputy Managers will also be considered for this role.
You must have a minimum of either an NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
The successful Nursery Manager will be required to:
- Support the Centre Director and Operations Leadership Team with day-to-day operation of the nursery
- Lead, mentor and inspire the team
- Previous experience of working within Early Years as a Manager or Deputy Manager
- Ensure essential everyday tasks are completed
- Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Deliver outstanding care and education opportunities
- Conduct regular appraisals and CPD opportunities for their staff
- Have exceptional behaviour management
- Be the designated safeguard lead
- Attend training sessions and lead all staff meetings
- Support with staff recruitment
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
- Have a passion for developing children ready for their school journey
- Be resilient and strong-willed
- Display the skills to be an effective role model
