Are you an experienced primary school teacher looking for work in Birmingham? Winner Education are seeking an experienced KS2 teacher for a primary school in the Sutton Coldfield area. This is a full-time role, with the successful candidate required to start in September and will be on a long-term basis.

You must hold a QTS with previous experience in KS2; this role is not suitable for ECT's.

The successful candidate must:

  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Have previous experience working in KS2
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be confident in delivering lessons to full class sizes
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be able to form excellent relationships within the school team as well as pupils and parents
  • Show willing to go ‘above and beyond'
  • Be a reliable and responsible role model

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead on lesson planning and preparation
  • Tailor lesson resources and materials to those pupils who require additional support
  • Assessing and providing pupil feedback and progress reports
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
