We are working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in the B20 area of Birmingham, who are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping pupils stay engaged and focused in the classroom.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom management
  • Implementing school behaviour policies and reward systems
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, coaching, etc.)
  • Confident managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
  • Positive, proactive, and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication skills
