We are on the lookout for experienced Solicitor / Barrister / CILEX Lawyer to join our Advocacy team as a Professional Advocate, where you would be responsible for providing advocacy services for departments within Winn Solicitors, ensuring the best possible outcome for the client and the business is achieved on every case.

Responsibilities
- As a Solicitor Advocate / Barrister / CILEX Lawyer, you will be responsible for advocating in hearings for Winn Solicitors Ltd as requested, in particular, Fast Track trials and exercising a right of audience in the County Court.
- To advocate hearings for any other parties as requested.
- To ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the client by preparing cases, carrying out research and developing appropriate submissions and cross examination.
- To maximise costs recovery in accordance within relevant costs regimes.
- Drafting of Skeleton Arguments.
- Be a point of contact for adhoc technical queries within and outside the department.

Working Hours
This role is Full Time based on 37.5 Hours per week.
This role would require traveling to Courts within the North East and further afield as and when needed.
Ideally you should hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own transport.
We are also fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.
