Responsibilities
- Work collectively with the supervising solicitor to ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for personal injury and losses, in accordance with regulations and legislation.
- Accurately record evidence and data received from clients and other parties.
- Assist with drafting legal documents.
- Follow department procedures and processes, along with company policies.
- Assist the wider team in achieving its key responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies, including data confidentiality and operational security of Information Systems.

Working Hours
Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am‑5.00pm. Fully office-based in Byker, Newcastle.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience
- 1 year+ paralegal or equivalent experience.
- Ability to assist with ACAS and other fast-track cases with supervision.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RTA liability and factual causation issues.
- Knowledge of Part 7 and Part 8 procedural rules and practice directions related to Credit Hire and Vehicle Damage loss recovery.
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives.
- Experience of effective teamwork in a commercial environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate.
- Commitment to personal development.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Proclaim Case Management System (or similar).
- Previous experience within Personal Injury or other compensation claims.
