We are recruiting compassionate, reliable, and motivated Care Assistants (Adult Services) and Residential Support Workers (Children’s Services) to work across a range of well-established care homes within East Sussex.
You will be supporting vulnerable adults and young people in high-quality residential and respite settings that provide personalised care, structured support, and a safe, nurturing environment.
These services support:
- Older adults (65+)
- Adults with learning disabilities
- Young people aged 7–19 with learning disabilities
- Children and young people (8–18) in residential care
- Secure children’s residential services
We have shifts available across multiple sectors including short-break services, supported living, intermediate care, and residential children’s homes.
Locations Available: We are recruiting for multiple establishments across East Sussex, including but not limited to:
- Eastbourne (BN21, BN23, BN22)
- Crowborough (TN6)
- Bexhill (TN39, TN40)
- Hailsham (BN27)
- Battle (TN33)
- St Leonards-on-Sea (TN37)
- Seaford (BN25)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility
- Encourage independence and promote wellbeing
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and homely environment
- Accurately record notes, follow care plans, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support children and young people with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
Requirements:
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
