- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, maintaining models and planning outputs.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for commercial initiatives, marketing reviews, operational reviews and strategic projects.
- Assess promotional effectiveness, including uplift, cannibalisation, margin impact and ROI, and provide recommendations on the mechanics most likely to deliver profitable growth.
- Work with Marketing to align promotional spend, discounting and campaign investment with profitability targets and wider commercial priorities.
- Build standardised templates, dashboards and automated reporting outputs that provide clear KPIs, consistent performance views and stronger data quality across systems.
- Assess the external landscape, including competitor activity and relevant promotional mechanics, to inform campaign reads and future planning.

- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Person Specification
- Curious and analytical, with strong attention to detail and a desire to understand the commercial and operational drivers of performance.
- Enjoys reporting what has happened, but is equally interested in why it happened and what the business should do next.
- Interested in how marketplace trends, customer behaviour and the macro environment can interact to impact business performance.
- Commercially minded, with the judgement to balance customer response, profitability and long-term brand value when assessing growth opportunities.
- Comfortable balancing accuracy with pace in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative and supportive, with confidence to challenge constructively and with sensitivity to stakeholder priorities.
- Confident working with other departments to shape test design, agree success measures and provide constructive challenge before and after activity.
- Keen to learn and build broad commercial exposure in a cross functional role.
Skills and Experience
We want to hear from people with commercial experience ideally in multi-site, fast-paced environments, possessing strong analytical foundations, with a curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Essential
- Experience in finance, commercial analysis, pricing, marketing effectiveness, insight, FP&A or a similar analytical role.
- Experience analysing test-and-learn activity, including multi-site, customer, campaign or channel tests, with the ability to provide insight even when control groups, sample sizes or test conditions are not perfect.
- Strong Excel skills, with experience working with large datasets, maintaining models and updating dashboards.
- Ability to analyse sales, operational or commercial performance data and translate findings into clear insight.
- Experience supporting reporting, budgeting, forecasting or performance review processes.
