Planning, designing and project management tasks include:
- Propose, design and evolve efficient, robust, high performing and secure technology solutions (Front-end, back-end or infrastructure work-related)
- Enhancements to our collection and use of data
- Produce reliable estimations to allow the team to deliver on or before your proposed release dates
- Work with the management team to plan both medium-term strategies as well as day-to-day workload to ensure that the ambitious development targets are met within deadlines
- Work with the management team to plan how new functionality will work and how it will be integrated with the existing platform
- Implement testing cases using the chosen testing framework to find, prevent and fix any problems

- A highly proficient software developer who can code in OO (JAVA, PHP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript)
- Research and ensure third party applications are properly implemented and selected
- Use Peer-programming and pull request mechanisms to ensure bank-level data security and keep our software secure
- Use the company's current suite of tools including Bitbucket (GIT), JIRA (ticketing), Confluence (Wiki), PHP Storm (or similar software). Be prepared to use other tools in the future such as Jenkins and Agile development techniques.
- It is desirable to have a good understanding of system administration, server maintenance and infrastructure design
