\’The Veterans\’ Flying School\’ have a vacancy for a full-time flying instructor to join our team at Gloucestershire Airport on a salaried basis.

This role will require the successful candidate to focus their skills and expertise into helping wounded, injured or sick armed forces veterans to prepare for new futures as qualified airline pilots.

Responsibilities

  • The safe and effective delivery of flight training, to include: PPL(A), Night Rating, SE IR(A) and CPL(A)
  • Effective planning and delivery of a meaningful, considered ground-school program
  • Effective maintenance of student records and documents via our e-management system (Private Radar)
  • Maintenance of compliance with company and regulator standards in-accordance-with our operations manuals and code of conduct
  • Occasional involvement in charity engagements – including fundraising and media activities

Qualifications

Minimum requirements –

  • Un-restricted CAA Flight Instructor Rating (Aeroplanes) – including CPL(A) and night rating privileges
  • CAA Instrument Rating Instructor -with previous experience delivering course

Salary

Β£48-55k pa depending on experience.

Accommodation can also be provided for up to 12 months.
