Experienced Events Crew/Crew Chiefs
We are a London based events crewing company who presently have a fantastic opportunity for new crew members to join our dynamic team leading up to the busy summer period.
As part of our team you will have the opportunity to work on a large range of events from corporate events, PR shows, product launches, brand experiences, festivals, AV installations and many more. You will be working at a variety of iconic London venues providing assistance to the production team.
We are currently looking for highly motivated and driven individuals to join our team
Previous experience working within the events industry woudl be benefical but is not crucial so long as you are hard working, reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic.
Standard Crew
Tasks will include but not restricted to:
Loading and unloading vans and trucks
building set and staging
assisting with the install and derig of equipment such as lighting, sound, audio visual
building and de-rigging equipment on site
manual handling of flights cases and equipment
heavy lifting
general labour
Crew Chief
As Crew Chief it will be your role to lead the team on site and supervise the other crew menbers. You will work alongside the rest of the team ensuring the standard of work meets the clients requirements. You willl also be the point of contact between the crew and the client and will delegate tasks as and when required to ensure the job is completd successfully and in a timely and eficient manner. it will also be your role to report back to the office regarding the status of the job and the team on site.
All crew must have the following attributes:
Punctuality
Proactivity, positive and \"can do\" attitude
Excellent communication skills and good command of the English Language
Ability to work on own initiative but as well as part of a team
To be physically fit as some tasks require heavy lifting
Understand health and safety procedures including heaving lifting procedure
Have their own steel toe cap shoes
If you have previous qualifications or experience in sound and lighting, telehandler/fork lift driving, cherry picker/scissor lift operator, rigging or any other event related skill, we would love to hear from you as well.
We offer shifts on a freelance basis with a competitive average hourly rate from £17 to £22 per hour depending on experience and skills.
Crew with previous experience and references will go to the front of the line.
Shifts are offered 24 hrs a day 7 days a week with a minimum shift of 3 hours (minimum call). Therefore, you must be prepared to work sociable and unsociable hours if you wish to join our team. The right candidates will need to be able to easily access central London 24/7 for shifts of 3 hrs duration or more.
