Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of fire systems in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Identify and address any issues or non-compliance discovered during inspections.
Accurately complete reports and documentation for all work undertaken.
Stay abreast of the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fire Technician or in a similar fire protection role.
Solid understanding of fire protection systems.
Familiarity with Australian Standards and applicable fire safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
A valid driver’s licence.
Trade licence (highly regarded).
FPA Australia Accreditation.
