Purpose
The key purpose of this role is to load and unload containers/lorries and to remove goods from the Bond.
Responsibilities
- To assist in all stocktakes
- To load and unload containers/lorries
- To check in all goods against the delivery note and ensure they match
- To ensure that all stock is properly rotated
- To put into and remove goods from the Bond
- To ensure that all products are in the correct location within the warehouse
- To date proof all products coming into the warehouse
- To top up the batteries on the forklifts
- To identify any slow-moving products
- To put away products returned by the drivers
- To ensure the goods in bay are kept clean and tidy
- Any other duties relevant and related to the post
Qualifications
Essential
- Reach truck and counterbalance certificates for driving
Desirable
- Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills

Other Relevant Information
Working hours for this position will range from 8:30am - 7:00pm. Overtime may be required when the workload demands. From time to time flexibility may be required in order to provide cover in other areas of the business for holiday/sickness cover, e.g. drivers helper/warehouse operative.
