Purpose
The key purpose of the role of Driver is to deliver goods to customers of Philip Russell Ltd in an efficient and courteous manner, checking all goods onto the premises and ensuring the completion of all paperwork.
Responsibilities
- To ensure deliveries are made as per the journey planner
- To ensure Health & Safety of the vehicle including checks and careful driving/unloading etc
- To ensure the helper carries out their role effectively especially in relation to banksman duties
- To ensure the accurate reporting of stock
- To ensure the safe loading/unloading of deliveries
- To ensure good customer service on Client's sites
- Any other duties relevant and related to the post
Qualifications
- Desirable: Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills
Skills and Experience
- Essential: 6 months of driving experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner
- Clean License
- Desirable: Fork Lift License
