Responsibilities:
- Ensure all staff are familiar with and adopt a pro-active approach to personal hygiene and Health and Safety requirements concerning dress code.
- Maintain site cleanliness and appearance in compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Conduct routine monthly inspections of the retail premises, monitoring physical conditions and activities.
- Control exposure to hazardous substances as defined by COSHH regulations and report any hazardous conditions to the Area Manager and Human Resources Department.
- Ensure compliance with all Food Hygiene Laws and Regulations through implementing HACCP guidelines.
- Be familiar with the location and use of all fire extinguishers and emergency/fire evacuation procedures.
- Adhere to correct manual handling procedures at all times.
- Maintain and replenish the Site First Aid Box and record all usage.
- Record all injuries and incidents in the Accident Book and ensure completion of the Wineflair accident form for Human Resources.
- Understand and ensure compliance with all Age Restricted Legislation including Tobacco, Lighters, Fuels and Solvents.
- Safeguard WineFlair property and equipment, monitoring for suspicious circumstances or potential security risks.
- Report any damage to property or persons, loss of goods or stock, and details of responsible persons to the Store Manager.
- Attend alarm calls as part of Key Holder duties and keep contact information up-to-date.
- Be familiar with video surveillance equipment, store security systems, and safes.
- Maintain professional confidentiality and not disclose confidential company information to unauthorised persons.
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
