Purpose
To oversee Door Admission policy and to adhere and comply with all Door Supervisors guidelines.
Responsibilities
- To greet customers in a welcoming and friendly manner
- To prevent drunkenness and rowdiness on the premises
- To prevent glasses and bottles being removed from the premises
- To be in attendance at the front door unless otherwise instructed by the Manager
- To be courteous to customers when clearing premises at closing time
- To handle confrontation as discreetly as possible
- To complete Incident Report Forms when necessary
- To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times
- Any duties relevant and related to the post
Educational qualifications
- Educated to secondary level standard
- Completion of Door Supervisor's course is desirable
Skills and Experience
- Six months previous experience in a customer focused environment is desirable
- A basic knowledge of First Aid and Fire Safety is desirable
- Good listener
- Friendly and courteous
- Patient
- Good team player
