Responsibilities
- To provide a high standard of customer service in the serving of food and drink.
- To set up the bar counter and the food service area in the appropriate manner as per Company procedures.
- To meet and greet customers, take food and drink orders and liaise with all relevant personnel in ensuring the delivery of these orders to the customer.
- To anticipate the needs of the customer and ensure that the customer receives excellent customer service at all times.
- To ensure that the food service and bar service areas meet the Company standard regarding cleanliness, health and safety.
- To calculate the bills correctly and accept and verify various methods of payment.
- To refill bar stock levels and ensure efficient bar stock including stock rotation.
- To carry out end of shift duties according to Company procedures.
- To carry out toilet checks on a regular basis.
- To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times.
- Any other duties relevant and related to the post.
Educational Qualifications
- Educated to secondary level standard.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 6 months previous bar service experience is essential.
- A minimum of 6 months previous food service experience is desirable.
- A working knowledge of Micros is desirable.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player, customer focused and enthusiastic, with a desire to ensure that our customers receive excellent service.
- With excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner.
