Various Part Time Hours Available

Responsibilities

  • To provide a high standard of customer service in the serving of food and drink.
  • To set up the bar counter and the food service area in the appropriate manner as per Company procedures.
  • To meet and greet customers, take food and drink orders and liaise with all relevant personnel in ensuring the delivery of these orders to the customer.
  • To anticipate the needs of the customer and to ensure that the customer receives excellent customer service at all times.
  • To ensure that the food service and bar service areas meet the Company standard regarding cleanliness, health and safety.
  • To calculate the bills correctly and accept and verify various methods of payment.
  • To refill bar stock levels and ensure efficient bar stock including stock rotation.
  • To carry out end of shift duties according to Company procedures.
  • To carry out toilet checks on a regular basis.
  • To ensure that a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance is maintained at all times.
  • Any other duties relevant and related to the post.

Educational qualifications

  • Educated to secondary level standard.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 6 months previous bar service experience is essential.
  • A minimum of 6 months previous foodservice experience is desirable.
  • A working knowledge of Micros is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will be a team player, customer focused and enthusiastic, with the desire to ensure that our customers receive excellent service.
  • With excellent communication skills, the ideal candidate will be able to approach their work in a methodical and logical manner.
