Glennon Brothers is a leading timber processor in Ireland and the UK with a strong growth story. As a leader in the Green Tech industry, Glennon Brothers is a growing, dynamic and innovative organisation with ambitious growth plans. Glennon Brothers supplies both Irish and the UK markets with products for the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries as well as wood pellet fuel and renewable electricity. It also manufactures timber frame homes and engineered roof trusses for the house building sector.

As the company prepares for continued growth and investment, Glennon Brothers is now seeking to appoint a Production Operator to join our Production Team in Humbie, Edinburgh at our Windymains site.

Based in Windymains, the Production Operator will report to the Production Supervisor and will play a key role in the production process of all our products for the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries. Glennon Brothers wants to see its employees develop and learn and therefore additional professional training will be encouraged/provided.

Successful candidates will work in various areas within the site, collaborating in teams to fulfil tasks associated with different parts of the production process. This role is physically demanding, and applicants should consider this aspect before applying. Employees will predominantly work outdoors.

Job Details:

  • 39 hours per week
  • Competitive hourly rate plus shift allowance
  • Rotating shifts - One week on day shift, and the other on backshift.
  • Shift Schedule:
    • Day Shift: Monday to Friday 6 am - 2 pm
    • Back Shift: Monday - Thursday 2 pm - 11 pm; Friday 2 pm - 6 pm
