Windyedge Cottage is a small, friendly 15-bed care home in Forfar , committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and homely environment. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our dedicated care team.
About the Role As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. You will work as part of a caring team to deliver high standards of care and support while promoting independence and wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine caring and compassionate nature.
Is reliable, respectful, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues, residents, and families.
Has an understanding of the SSSC Codes of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards .
Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Is flexible and able to work weekends as part of a rota .
Key Responsibilities Providing personal care and support to residents.
Promoting residents' independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
Supporting residents with daily living activities.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care.
Maintaining accurate records and following care plans.
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Experience & Qualifications Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full induction and training will be provided . Applicants should be committed to working towards or maintaining any qualifications required by the SSSC.
