We are seeking experienced drone pilots to support a major utility asset inspection programme covering over 600 structures (275kV towers) across the Southampton, Bath, and Reading areas. This is a single-person operation with full SOPs in place.

Project Details

  • Location: Southampton, Bath and Reading area
  • Equipment: DJI M300/M350 or 400 series (rental available)
  • Payload: Sony LR1 (rental available)
  • Drone Supply: Drone and payload can be supplied under rental agreement
  • Project Start: June / July 2026
  • Project Duration: All data captured by end of FY27
  • Operation Type: Single Person Operation (SOPs provided)
  • Rate Structure: All-in day rates preferred
  • Working Pattern: Monday – Sunday (full weeks available)

Scope of Work

  • Manual flight inspection of 275kV utility towers to capture high-quality data
  • Follow standardised Collection Plan and Flight Plan (provided)
  • Focus exclusively on data capture — permissions and access managed by the client
  • Occasional landowner liaison may be required

  • On-site onboarding and training session with a Senior Pilot (approx. one week)
