We are seeking experienced drone pilots to support a major utility asset inspection programme covering over 600 structures (275kV towers) across the Southampton, Bath, and Reading areas. This is a single-person operation with full SOPs in place.
Project Details
- Location: Southampton, Bath and Reading area
- Equipment: DJI M300/M350 or 400 series (rental available)
- Payload: Sony LR1 (rental available)
- Drone Supply: Drone and payload can be supplied under rental agreement
- Project Start: June / July 2026
- Project Duration: All data captured by end of FY27
- Operation Type: Single Person Operation (SOPs provided)
- Rate Structure: All-in day rates preferred
- Working Pattern: Monday – Sunday (full weeks available)
Scope of Work
- Manual flight inspection of 275kV utility towers to capture high-quality data
- Follow standardised Collection Plan and Flight Plan (provided)
- Focus exclusively on data capture — permissions and access managed by the client
- Occasional landowner liaison may be required
