Our Predictive Intelligence platform empowers organizations to make smarter decisions, manage risks, and streamline operations. Now, we’re pushing boundaries further by developing Generative AI agents to automate customer processes at scale, supported by a new team of Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs).
We’re seeking a Director of Product Management to lead Windward’s transformative Gen AI Agents initiative. This strategic role blends platform development, customer collaboration, and innovative thinking to create scalable AI solutions.
You’ll partner with FDEs, sales teams, customers, and the broader product group to:
- Identify reusable components and infrastructure needed for Gen AI agent deployments.
- Define scalable tools, building blocks, and governance models.
- Prioritize customer projects that align with Windward’s vision and leverage our AI expertise.
- Shape a roadmap that balances immediate customer needs with long-term platform growth.
- Align strategy and roadmap with each vertical in collaboration with the broader product group.
- Guide the organization on which initiatives to pursue, refine, or decline.
- Be the product team point person on all things customers as you’ll be situated in the market (London) across all three verticals (Government, Supply Chain, Trading and Shipping).
This role bridges hands-on innovation with strategic platform development, delivering transformative AI solutions for maritime trading, shipping, logistics, and public sector customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Strategy: Design core components and services to support a diverse range of Gen AI agents.
- Field Collaboration: Partner with Forward-Deployed Engineers to scope projects, extract reusable insights, and ensure scalable solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers to understand automation needs and translate them into product opportunities.
- Project Prioritization: Develop a framework to evaluate customer requests, focusing on strategic alignment and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver viable, repeatable solutions.
- Roadmap Ownership: Create and manage a clear, adaptable roadmap for Gen AI agents and shared infrastructure and embed it within the vertical roadmaps.
- Thought Leadership: Advocate for AI-driven innovation, inspiring internal teams and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in Product Management, including 2+ years leading platform or infrastructure products.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies and proven experience in building Gen AI products and agents.
- Experience working with AI, Machine Learning, or highly technical domains.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, field teams, and enterprise customers.
- Track record of delivering data-driven or AI-based products for large organizations.
- Exceptional ability to balance immediate project delivery with long-term strategy.
- Strong decision-making skills to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
- Experience with Forward-Deployed Engineering or professional services teams is a plus.
