At our school, we believe sport is for everyone. It helps children become confident, learn to be a good teammate, and find a sport they love for life. That\’s why we believe in ‘Sport for All’.
Every student gets the chance to play, get active, and feel part of the team. We have two long PE lessons every week with lots of sports to try, like football, gymnastics, dance, and cricket. We also have free breakfast and after-school sports clubs that all students can join.

A Special Way to Get a Place at Our School
Our school is very popular. Every year, we get more applications than we have places.
Because of this, we have a special way for children with a talent for sport to get a place. We keep 10% of our places just for children who show potential in sport. This is our Sporting Aptitude Programme.
This programme gives children who are good at sport a chance to join our school, even when we are oversubscribed.
How to Apply for a Sporting Aptitude Place
The process is simple and fair. It\\\’s not about what clubs your child has been in. It’s about their natural fitness and potential.
We will test simple physical skills. These check things like stamina, speed, power, and coordination.
What you need to know:
- You must fill in an application form to be tested.
- All the dates you need are on our website. You must apply before the deadline.
- Boys and girls can apply. It doesn’t matter if they have played for a club for years or are just starting out.
