Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Teacher Art & Design - Graphics to join our Strodes College team on a permanent, part-time basis working on a 0.8 FTE.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and highly competent Teacher Art & Design - Graphics to join our thriving Art, Design and Media Department on a 0.8 FTE basis. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and experience in delivering high-quality teaching in Graphics. Experience with industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Adobe Dimensions is highly desirable.
The Art, Design and Media department at Strodes College consistently achieves excellent results and enjoys high levels of student engagement across all disciplines. Graphics is a popular and expanding option, and we are looking for a teacher who can inspire and challenge students to produce outstanding work.
We currently offer UAL art and Design and A Level courses in Graphics, 3D Design, Fine Art, Photography, Media, and Film Making. The department is exceptionally well-resourced, creating a rich and diverse environment for creative exploration. Facilities include:
- A darkroom and photographic studio
- IT suites and a dedicated green room
- A heat treatment room for metalwork
- Laser cutter, wood and metal lathes, and saws
- Computer suites equipped with CAD and creative software
- A 3D printer
- Three kilns, potters wheels, a printing press
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team, including a full-time technician, and will play a key role in shaping and delivering the Graphics curriculum.
