Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Lecturer in Multi Trades to join our Structural Technologies Department at Slough and Langley College working on a full-time permanent basis. The role pays on the Academic pay scale between T1 £31,633 and T11 £45,341 per year depending on qualifications and experience. This role involves working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
The Lecturer in Multi Trades focuses on delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for Learners studying a Level 1 Multi Trade Qualification. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing lesson plans
- Delivering instruction
- Setting individual student targets
- Conducting regular assessments
- Acting as a tutor, providing both academic and pastoral support to students, including those with behavioural and educational difficulties
- Maintaining detailed student records
- Collaborating with parents and employers
- Contributing to the development and quality assurance of the curriculum
To qualify for this position, applicants must hold a minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant trade sector and a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths. We are seeking someone who has experience teaching learners with behavioural and educational needs and can effectively embed functional English and maths skills into the vocational curriculum. A level 4 or 5 Teaching Qualification is highly desirable.
