Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant 1:1 to join our BCA team on a permanent, term-time only basis. The position involves working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) for 37 term time weeks per year.

The responsibility of the Learning Support Assistant 1:1 is to enable students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential. This includes working under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
