Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Performing Arts (Dance Specialist) to join the Berkshire College of Agriculture team. This is a fixed-term position starting 19th August 2026 to 9th July 2027, working 22 hours per week (0.59 FTE) across Monday, Thursday and Friday. The salary will be on the Academic Teachers' Pay Scale, ranging from T01 £18,808.81 to T11 £26,959.51 per annum (£31,633 to £45,341 FTE), dependent on experience and qualifications.

The primary function of the Lecturer in Performing Arts role is to deliver UAL (University of the Arts London) Level 3 programme. Responsibilities include managing the academic cycle through induction, lesson planning, and the provision of ongoing assessment and feedback. You will utilise a diagnostic approach and vocational expertise to guide students through the creative process, supporting them to develop skills across dancing and acting, while ensuring English and Maths are integrated into the curriculum.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Performing Arts team including an acting teacher and a vocal coach to organise and carry out shows and performances. In addition to classroom delivery, you will contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement processes while maintaining professional links with parents and employers to support student progression.

Ideally, candidates should hold a Level 5 teaching qualification or be willing to work toward one. You must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant Performing Arts subject area as well as Level 2 English and Maths qualifications and must have recent experience of teaching Performing Arts alongside a demonstrated commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
