Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Lecturer in IT to join our Slough & Langley College team starting in August 2026 on a fixed term, full-time basis.
As an IT Lecturer at the Windsor Forest Colleges Group, the core responsibility is to deliver an outstanding student experience through high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment. This role involves working full-time (37 hours per week, 25 contact hours) on a fixed term contract due to end in July 2027. The salary for this role is on the Academic pay scale between T1 £31,633 and T11 £45,341 per year depending on qualifications and teaching experience.
This vital role involves designing comprehensive schemes of work, crafting innovative lesson plans, and driving curriculum development to prepare students for a rapidly evolving tech landscape. A central focus of this position is the delivery and management of advanced technical pathways, specifically including T-Level qualification courses. Through these technical programs, lecturers equip students with the precise vocational skills, academic rigor, and examination preparation required to maximize their potential in the digital sector.
Beyond classroom instruction, the role demands robust pastoral leadership and active stakeholder engagement to ensure holistic student success. Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative links with parents and external industry employers is a key duty, which is particularly critical for supporting the substantial industry placements inherent to the T-Level framework.
